This lens offers so much detail, clarity, and just natural pictures up close with magnification of 10X. The lens hood also works great. It is clear, but frosted for light diffusion to give your picture a well balanced light. You should consider using this lens hood with light coverage from at least 2 points. Flash lights work perfect because they could sit level with the hood. Sunlight is obviously a good choice. Nice lens A few months ago I had purchased a 3-in-1 cell phone lens kit that included a 15x macro, a wide angle, and a fish-eye lens. They worked fairly well, but the one area where it was lacking was that the depth of field for the macro lens was too shallow. In other words when taking a close-up photo of an object that is not perfectly flat, such as a flower, the amount of depth that actually stayed in focus in the picture was not adequate. After doing some research, this could possibly be a result of poor lens quality, but more likely is due to the fact that the greater the magnification of a lens, the less its depth of field.This is why I decided to purchase this AUKEY Ora lens with a 10x magnification, and in fact this lens has a greater field of depth than my other 15x lens.
