The Sony FE 28-70mm f/3.5-5.6 OSS Lens is a versatile, compact, and lightweight wide-angle to portrait-length zoom lens designed specifically for full-frame E-mount cameras. It is also compatible with APS-C-sized image sensors and will provide a 35mm-equivalent focal length range of 42-105mm. In regard to the optical design, three aspherical elements and one extra-low dispersion element help to reduce aberrations and distortions while contributing to notable image sharpness and clarity. This lens also integrates Optical SteadyShot image stabilization to lessen the appearance of camera shake when working in low-light conditions or with longer focal lengths. Additionally, a dust- and moisture-resistant construction ensures this lens’ use in tough environmental conditions.

Very versatile and more than adequate for all around uses. Despite purist who are pining for the zeiss lens made for the a7 serie cameras, this lens is more than adequate to perform any kind of shoot you using it for.Yes, it’s a little long and heavier than prime lenses but the versatility of this lens more than make up for it.It is also lighter than the 24-70 f/4 lens that cost three times as much and you only gain one stop when you put it at the 70mm.I shoot professional fashion photography for over 17 years and among all my peers, we use predominantly one lens to shoot most of our jobs and this will be mine.Especially when I travel.My clients won’t overtly scrutinize over how sharp the details, how accurately faithful the color resolution of a shot made by highly priced lenses like most camera fans who are the prime consumers of these kinds of camera equipment.So in honesty, this lens is all you need for your fab a7 serie bodies.Hope this review help save you some money that you can use to buy…

Good Lens ///GDS Technology good/fast Seller in US for this Lens version guys!😉 I have an a6000 & i just replaced my kit lens 16-50mm with this FE 28-70mm – i’m very satisfied with it, much better th Kit lens/sharpness etc… It is the International Version ..No Warranty but who cares if the lens came without any defect from Manufacturer / anyway official warranty it’s just an year long, does Not cover accidentally damage & my opinion not worthing to pay 200$ extra to get the US Intended One.. IF i don’t mistake u can add for lill extra $ with Amazon a warranty who covers drops & spills wich is greater than factory warranty overall.I ordered from GDS Technology located in US => Fast Delivery for this Vesion & Price! … i first ordered from Japan for lil bit low price 299$ & i’ve cancel the order eventually =>> it would take for normal delivery like one month😳 .
