Great lens and a very reasonable price. Great on a full frame! This lens is fantastic! I am able to shoot without a flash in conditions that I never would have considered before. While it is not quite as sharp as the F1.2, it is is a fraction of the price, and WAAAY lighter. It is a ton sharper than the F1.8 and significantly faster. Also, it is at a price range than us mortals can justify paying for a prime lens that may or may not get used all the time.I really like carrying this lens on my 5Dmkiii for a walk around lens.For a more technical review, I recommend looking up Ken Rockwell’s review (google him). He highly recommends this lens and so do I!For background, I shot semi-professionally for many years, and not I shoot my kids and family outings. My normal rig is a 5Dmkiii with a battery grip and a 24-70 F2.8L and 70-200 F2.8L IS.
